getting giant cam to pass emissions

For a cam like a GM 847... will adding more cats.. improve the possibility of passing emissions.... silly but just a question.

yes the cats will improve the possibility of it passing, you should also get your pcm tuned to pass. I have heard of guys with cc306's passing, not sure what state but it has been done.

I was also thinking about this... having like a section of my I pipe bolt on for swaping an extra cat in for emissions test.

My 230/236 112LSA LT-1 passed here in Cali at a test only center with no programming done, stock tune. They did fail me visually for the SLP shorties until I came back with the CARB approval code for it.
