getting EGR and AIR programmed out? removing AIR pump?

Does PCMforless allow to program out EGR and AIR? If so, has anyone verified that it 'fools' emissions inspection machines? Not a sniffer, just where they plug into your PCM and get readings? Also, does anyone here know how much the AIR pump weighs? Could i just use o2 simms and remove the AIR pump, and that would satisfy the AIR requirement?

thanks!

PCMforless can program out A.I.R. and EGR, but I'm not sure if the codes still show up when you scan the car. I just know you won't get an SES light.

actually what it will do is program out the code. its like the computer will know the air pump is gone and egr valve is missing but is not allowed to throw a code or give you SES.

So....

So basically that means that the computer doing the emissions testing will know the EGR and AIR are removed? Or, the emissions computer won't see a code, so it'll assume its working? hehe - is that about right?

thanks!

well first off. you have OBD1 so right there you failed emissions.

as for as the codes go... the PCM is not allowed to show them ever so you cant pull those codes off.

Well Do they not do a visual inspection? If so it doesn't matter what the computer is saying you'll be busted very quickly when they see your EGR ports are bolted up, and also if you get rid of the air pump I have heard to gut the Cat, or it will clog up.

no visual inspections....

No visual inspections, but if they obviously see the AIR redirection tubing torn out, and it still "passes" the test, they probably won't say anything.... im in Gwinnett County, Georgia

later..
