Getting a CEL how to find out what's causing it?
Hi all, I'm getting a CEL. I'm wondering how to find out what's causing it?
Would a scanner tell me what the code is? Any way to 'hotwire' it to flash the code on the dash then I can look it up on the internet?

Yes a scanner will tell you. Flashing the codes will only work on a 1993 LT1 f-body-not any later years. I don't see any info you shared on what your car is.
