Cool Get 2 the 12's

Hey Im new to this board, I was told that it was a cool site for lt1 support. So I figure I would bug you all

These next 2 months I will be adding a lt4hotcam, hooker shorty headers, new plugs and wires, cutout, 1le elbow, 1.6rrs, 3 angle valve job on the heads, and dyno tune by speed inc.

Car currently has cai, 3.73's, and a flowmaster muffler. Its a a4, with 75 k on the clock. So far I ran a best of 13.8, and it could run a lil quicker. 2.0 60ft.

Well here comes the questions....

I didnt really have problems hooking up at the track on my dunlop tires. But I know with the new setup I will be making more torque. What suspension mods are a must? Or what would you recommend.

Im thinking so far. Boxed LCA's, SFC's, and maybe a drag launch kit.

Also do you suggest anything else I should add in my lt4hot cam setup? I really want to get this baby in the 12's, for now.

Thanks for the help in advance.

no point in getting those moda unless you can take off right in the band... I reccomend getting a stall... about 3000ish vigi or yank...

with those mods you might be able to get in the 12's with the stock converter... not impossible, been done before but stalls just make it muuuch better...that and propper tunning.

You should be able to run 12s with those mods.
I run enough MPH to hit high 12s but I need to get the suspension to hook at the track, I don,t have any internal mods.

Unless you have to pass emissions I would not worry about cats.
Mine are long gone and I don,t miss them one bit.

If I was worried about being loud I would not be running LTs with purple horny header mufflers.
Go ahead and get the cats if you gots emissions.
There are companies that sell hi flow ones.

With the mods you're going to add, I'd definitely get a good 3" catback or at least a cutout. That stock piping/Flowmaster muffler is going to be a pretty big restriction pretty soon.
