gen 1 blower on lt1

hey, been thinkin what it would take to put an old holley or b&m or something roots style blower ontop of an lt1. cover up the distributor hole, keep the rad hose going to the waterpump if you left all the sensors, and opti, and just run a carb it should work i think.. or even machine holes for injectors.

or what about shave an lt1 manifold down a bunch, and use that as the blower manifold, anyone done this before?

There is actually a company in NJ selling a kit for the b-body to do pretty much just this, BUT they are hand fabbing the intakes and keeping the pcm.
It is Mease Performance Engineering but I am having a hard time finding a link for you. The problem on the f-body is going to be clearance.

I asked this question before. I dont think a gen1 blower will fit the lt1 at all.. but I could be wrong I went with nitrous instead...

Re: gen 1 blower on lt1

as stated in many other posts (search feature) theres not much that a roots can do better then a centrifugal blower
good luck getting one under an f-body cowl

coolness factor is there but thats about it IMO
