Geeze am I gonna have to retorque the whole engine???

K guys... my stroker is almost broken in with 469 miles on it. I just looked under the car and saw oil on the ground. I put the car on ramps and found oil all over the bottom of the chain cover. I was so bummed. Everything has been perfect. The I look and there is oil on my Canton pan. I wiped it all off and found the oil to be coming from my reluctor ring sensor...screw was loose...hopefully that was it. Also my oil level sensor on the pan was loose. I remember tightening both of them. I'm wondering all you guys..... should I go over the entire motor?????

If it continues to leak, pick-up so oil dye and a black light. This really helped tracking down a leak in my friend's 96 TA...turned out to be the timing chain cover gasket...that was fun to replace!

Did you replace the WP drive seal ?....that one seems to be a common problem.

Its the Opti seal and it only drips like a couple drop everyday so I said screw it. It couple be the waterpump seal but all the oil is around the opti and not the waterpump so I think its that. Either way I aint pulling the pan just for that.

Get the dye!

Confirm the location of the leak so that before you decide to ignore it, you know exactly what you are ignoring.
