From everything that i have ever heard, GM/Motive gears are the best gears to go with.

well richmonds are the strongest, and your 10 bolt is one weak motha...so do you want quiet or do you want strength?

Yea the Richmond gears are a race cut gear, where as the GM Motive gears are not. The Richmond's will be much louder since they have straighter teeth. They are stronger but whine more than the normal.

Nope. I am getting another set of 3.73's. I have motive now but they are shot. Need gears now before I can race on my new trans.

Maybe just a bad set or bad install, but I shattered a set of Richmonds. And the Motives have held up for almost 3 years of abusive nitrous launches.

Yep. I was told that they were set up wrong causing abnormal wear. I will probably go with the motives again.

I rarely use the sig except if it illustrates a point. In this case, these are my mods and the 4.10s work very well with this set up. I appreciate your politeness and I will continue to use it sparingly.

I have GM/Motive 410's in My firebird and they rock, Loud winding though, but the strength is unreal

My set howled for about 300 miles. I took it very easy and didn't do any hard launches. Also, kept it at 60 MPH for the first 300.

Now, they are quiet and smooth. I would recommend GM Motives as stated earlier. I've heard good things from Strange too! Both are quality companies.

The GM Motives are supposed to be "lapped" to smooth the edges and make them quiet.
