Question Gear Change?

I am planning on doing a gear swap in the near future and was wondering if it is able to be done at my home. Mainly wondering if you can get the ring and pinion to get lined up properly with just your basic tools, or if I will need to get a specialty tool or just leave it up to the local speed shop. I have no problem changing it out I am really just concerned about getting them lined up.

If you have never installed gear before then I would recommend having some professionals install them. Gears are not easy to setup and require alot of time and patience.

Thanks for the reply. That is probably what I am going to do but was still going to see what everyone thought.
