hey on the 93zs, the m9 transmissoion, what would 3:42;s be equal to. Caus i know it would be diff on a 94 m6 tranny. and is there any way of telling if you have the origional tranny in a 93z?

 

First of all, 93 M6 cars came with 3.23 gear sets not 3.42. That will throw off your calculations(unless you've changed the gearset). 3.42 is stock for M6 cars from '94 up.

 

i know 93s came with 3:23's they are sitting in my garage, i have 4:10s in right now. and want to take my car to the beach and lon the highway more, and was wondering since it has a diff m6 tranny than 94 and newer, z's what gear should i go with? maybe 3:42 or, 3:73s , might just go with 3:42, i dont know, thats why im asking.
