gaskets and RTV

gaskets and RTV

what gaskets on the cam install should use RTV? front cover? water pump? opti? Headers? Intake Manifold? oil pan? valve covers? which ones?

id buy a full gasket set and use RTV as well
combination of both so u know u have NO leaks

Only place you need RTV is on the front and rear rails of the black where the intake seals to it.

I guess RTV wouldnt hurt anywhere else, but its not need. Just make sure all of the mating surfaces are clean.

I wouldn't use it on the headers. Just get the metal reusable crush gaskets. I heard they are awsome. I wouldn't bother with the oil pan. Don't need it on the valve covers, just use rubber gaskets, not cork.
