Were doing heads/cam on a customers 96 LT1 car and Im wondering should we just get thunders heads/cam install kit or get all the needed gaskets (except get felpro head gaskets) from jason cromer or dal lambert?

What kind of header gasket should we use?

 

Header gasket FelPro #1406 is the best for the application.

The holes in the GM gaskets do not line up properly.

 

I think it's felpro 1406 for the header gaskets. I went with felpro everything but if you want all GM stuff (which I read that felpro makes some of it anyways), I'd say those names are the ones to go to.
