What all is needed for removing the old gaskets when putting on new head, intake, timing chain, etc. All I have right now is a scraper but there is still a small amount of material left. Sould I use anything else like some kind of wire attachment for a drill or brush? Thanks

 

I use lacquer thinner and a rag to wipe and clean the surfaces. The lacquer thinner helps soften-up remaining surface debris.
