Gasket between egr pipe and header

I'm running emission legal Jet Hots. I thought I remembered there being a gasket between the egr hose and the header. I called Cromer to get a replacement gasket and he told me there was no gasket there.

There is a gasket that goes between the egr pipe and the back of the intake manifold.

No, you could always try some high temp sealant, but you should be fine without it.

No, it will leak on the headers without a gasket!
Use one made for the tube that goes off the intake, trim off one ear.
It will not leak if you do this.
