gas tank ventilation

Hello, i think my gas tank ventilation isnt working right. when i open my gas cap up it makes a nice hissing noise, there is definately a descent amount of pressure in there. is that normal or do i have to start looking into this. thanks -dave

The lower the fuel level, the more it hisses when you open it. That has been my observation and appears to be perfectly normal.
