Gas pedal on my LT1...

on my '94 z28, the gas pedal is weird. You have to put your foot on it a certain way to actually get wot or just do some gast accelartion. BTW, the car is a A4 and no, my foot is not fat. Haha, anyways, where do u guys put ur foot?

I am probably going to get made fun of for this thread. HAha o well.

Check the throttle cable above the gas pedel, if there is play in your pedel (up/down) there is too much slack in the cable.

I know what you mean.... and the friggin thing is not adjustable, at least not in my 95Z.

I SeaFoamed my car again.. yesterday and this time out of curiosity removed the little black cover. One has an ajustment part but its not the gas pedal. Anyway while I deep Creek the car I noticed a little slack in the wire and I swear it looks as if it will not open the throttle body plates all the way.

I got to the conection inside the driver side and I did not see any adjusting **** or anything at the gas pedal either.. I swear it does not have any at neither end. Now I am bent on finding a way to get rid of the little slack.

To take out the slack, disconnect the cable from the throttle body and pull the slack into the car, then crimp another piece of metel above the old one.

Yes it is. Take the pedal assembly out of the car and pull the pedal off the metal piece. Put the metal piece in a vice and bend it so the pedal will move away from the floor and/or transmission tunnel until it's properly "adjusted".
