Gas in my oil, and oil in my gas!

I am one of those less fortunate f-body owners with the ''mystery skip". Today i was going to clean the throttle body and in front of the baffles, it was a decent amount of oil. What could cause that? The egr still rattles, so i dont think its that. My next problem is i checked my oil and the smell of gas was very noticable. I was wondering is that just unburned gas? my car does load up. What are the symptoms of a fuel pressure regulater going out?
I appreciate everyones help, thank yall

Oil builds up in the throttle body of every car. It's just the PCV (crankcase vent) system's "backwash" if you will. A small bit of oil vents back through the system, and ends up in the TB. The stock baffles to keep it out aren't the greatest.
