Gas mileage.

I know that gas mileage depends on the driver, but even when I drive her like a baby I think that there is still something wrong. I seem to be getting around 165 miles per tank in the city and I think that's pretty bad. Highway mileage is about 280 per tank.I just replaced the plugs and wires about a year ago with NGK irridium and Delco wires. I haven't replaced the O2 sensors yet but I've heard different things about about replacing them. I have about 111,000 miles on her right know. Some say change the O2 sensors, others say if there is nothing wrong with them to not change them. Even if I do, will this even help with my gas mileage that much? What's everyone else's MPG look like with the same or simmilar mods? Could there be another problem?

Re: Gas mileage.

i get almost identical gas mileage- i get about 180 around town and about 290-300 highway-

but i dont drive her that easy usually - my mods are in sig if that helps-
ive replaced O2's - fuel filter- plugs- wires - and am throwing no codes- she runs strong and have no other problems so assume thats just the mileage

im happy with it considering my last 3.4litre camaro was getting at best 11 mpg

Re: Gas mileage.

I sure hope that there is something I can do to get better gas mileage. Gas prices are killing me right now for premium.

Re: Gas mileage.

Man that sucks I'm in TX and it's only at about $2.00 a gallon. I guess I don't have it that bad.
