Need help. I have a 94 Z28 camaro with a 6 speed and I am getting gas fumes insede the car. It only seems to happen after i have been driving it hard and shut the car off. I smell them whden i come to a stop and if I get into the car a few minutes later it is even worse. any ideas? If I drive it nice and mellow you don't smell anything but this car was not made to be driven that way.

 

Check the vacuum lines on the canister purge solenoid on the side of the intake manifold. Also check to make sure it's properly working, and visually inspect the lines going to the carbon canister in the left rear quarter panel.
