Gains from Longtubes on a stock motor
hey javier i noticed you're from west palm. i'm in martin county, about 30 miles north of you. i saw the pictures on your website at moroso, i started going there alot. i have a 96 dark green z28 a4, maybe we'll see each other.
i am not into the whole longtubes are way better than shorties. IMO i think the long tubes just move the same power up in the rpms that you gain with the shorties.
as far as flowmaster i dont like them anymore. over the winter i went from a flowmaster catback to true duals and a madwolf tune and i went from a 13.4 @ 104 to the time in sig.
and this is still with slp shorties

K, i'm pretty interested in this as well, as headers will be my next power mod. So, does anyone have dyno results from throwing shorties on a car with little or no mods, versus the long tubes. We've seen a few dyno results from LT's on near stock cars in this thread, lets see the shorties.
