Gain from LT's over Mids

Gain from LT's over Mids
Looking at my current mods do you think long tubes would give me that much more of a gain in the 1/8? I'm running 8.8 to 9.1 depending on the weather right now.

with my 383 I went from mac mids, high flow cat, and slp loudmouth to pacesetter LTs, pacesetter ORY, and hooker catback.
I gained 3 mph but my E.T. was worse because I was running street tires instead of drag radials. previous best was a 12.6 @ 109 and my last was a 12.7 @ 112.5.

Acutally I'm not even running mids. I am running just plan manifolds I'm trying to decide if I can pass emmissions with LT's or if its even worth trying Lt's over mids

I haven't seen any back to back tests, but there is one point that I always bring up. If you go to advanced inductions website, you will see that MAC mids are putting out nearly identical power to LT's on a 400 rwhp heads/cam LT1.
