G-Force T/A KDW vs KDWS
I am trying to figure out what the difference is besides the price and the "S" on the end of KDW. you can get the KDWS for around $140 and then KDW is $200?? does the "S" in KDWS possibly stand for soft meaning they dont last as long?
KD(dry)W(wet)S(snow)
KD(dry)W(wet)
So the KDWS is also designed for applications in the snow.
KDW tires are great. Personally, I wouldn't by any tire that is rated for the snow, but I don't drive mine in the winter either.

Choose the tire that is best suited for your needs. I thought I would need rain tires so I stood away from BFG KD's (they're for dry pavement only)
Now I realized I never drove my car in the rain ever! And those KD's hook pretty well...
good luck

How's the treadwear on the KDs? I hear they last not that long...
I too love my KDW tires. Went from MIch Pilots (which were problems in the rain for the daily driver) to them a while back. I find that they are a little too hard for my liking and don't hook as well as the pilots or the KDs do, but compromise and DRs for the track.
