Depending on where you are in AZ they will be great. The are called KDW and not KDWS for a GOOD reason. They are terrible in the snow, ANY snow. I thought that they would be "useable" in light snow. Wrong. Dry and wet they are great.

I have the 245/50/16 also. They hook nice on the street but I can't say as far as track times. I paid $620.

These tires F`n rock! I had them, and had to drive in an Ohio winter. Like said before, by all means, do not attempt any snow! You`ll pay for it!! take my word!

I have those tires in 275/40/17 and they are awesome. Stick much better then those stock goodyear tires. Only real problem with the tires is the price, not very cheap. I think next time I'm due for tires I'll either get these again or lookin into the new Kumho MX, they look very aggresive at a reasonable price.

They weren't cheap here in Florida. Discount Tire matched TireRacks price of $171 ea. Those tires rock though.

I run these and quite like them. They are made from a summer compound and are not intended for any cold weather use. When the temperature gets below about 40 or so, the compound will harden up. I got mine from Discouttiredirect.com for $129 shipped, stock size.

Get them from Costco if you can.

I paid $646 installed/tax/road hazard warranty for a set of 4 KDWS 275/40/17.

I have the KDWS 245s, love em. They did just fine in icing conditions for me when I lived in VA. Not great, mind you, but a lot better than the Firehawks I replaced with them. They were also very well-behaved on the track.
