Angry Fustrated with unknown noise

Ok here is the deal, my 95 Z has a noise that sounds like a bearing is going out so I take it to a shop and see what the noise is. They tell me it is the power stearing pump so I go ahead and replace it. Then the noise still persists, so I take it back and they tell me it might be the alternator. So again I replace it. Still nothing. Getting irritated at this point. So I leave it alone maybe it might go away. So I go ahead and do a opti/waterpump/timing set change. Me thinking maybe it might be one of those, and hey it needed all three any ways. (118,000 miles ) Nothing after that so now here I am stuck in a rut and have no idea what the hell it is. I just can figure it out and I dont want to take it back to a shop and have to replace something that it wont be the solution to. Right now Im lookin at maybe a bad power stearing pump somehow or maybe a bad pulley. Any one want to chime in and help a broke azz **** out and find the problem to my unknown noise.

do you hear it while the car is idling? could take the belt off and start the car and see if you hear the noise. it'll at least give you some more info to work with.

Yeah its at Idle and it gets whinyer as I accelerate. I wanted to try that but taking the belt off drains the hell out of the battery. Maybe when I have the ***** to do it then ill go ahead. Other than that I was also thinking tensioner pulley. I just dont know.

Take the belt off, start the car just long enough to hear if the noise is still there or no, and turn it off, then you will know if it's something else besides the belt or accessorys.
