Fully Ported LT1 heads and GM847???

What kindof 1/4 times are you guys getting with Fully ported LT1 heads and the GM 847, i am looking to do head and cam this next winter and am trying to get an idea of what i want to go with. Would like to hit 11's, with the head/cam combo. What do you suggest?

I'm using mildly ported AFR 190s (small AFRs) in my full weight car, and I'm running High 11s with traction problems and hitting 115 + mph in a car that weights 3700 #s plus.

Best ET in sig, with mildly ported stock heads. My car can run 11s but I won't let it because I still have the stock 10-bolt. For now I just launch from idle and slip the clutch. My highest trap speed is 117.72mph

Actually The last time at the track was my first foray into the forbidden 11.99 and lower, luckily it was dark and that coupled with the tinting made it a little less noticable. Plans are there for the future though.

LOL, out here if you run 11.999, you get your run card yanked immediately if you have no rollbar. You get to spend the rest of the night as a spectator.

I'm sure if they had been paying alot of attention to me that they would have set me down, but when youre lined up against 9 second cars a high 11 looks slow....lol

My power peaks at 6400rpm but is only down 7rwhp at 6900rpm. I shift it at 6400rpm except the 2nd gear shift which I hit at 6000rpm. Anyone will at T56 will know that 2nd gear is where its at on these cars.

Lloyd Elliott heads with the GM847 would put you in the high 11s with the right bolt ons.

In a 383 it seems to peak around 6400 as well, I'll have a Dyno soon to confirm or deny that.
