Fuel in Throttle body problem

car is running very rich, chugs for a second and dies, MAF is black, fuel in TB, SES light for running rich, fuel injectors are not leaking, when I turn on the key there is a rythmic clicking sound coming from the firewall area, not real sure if it's behind the dash or at the engine bay, it runs the battery dead though any suggestions on where to go from here?

No recent modofications have been made to the car, has been running fine for the last 4 months or so.

Re: Fuel in Throttle body problem

You have some serious problems if you have fuel in the TB. The fuel injectors are pointed directly into the intake tracts.
Sounds like timing is off severly. Have you done a cam swap or timing chain or opti recently ?

Re: Fuel in Throttle body problem

I'm pretty aware of how everything works, this is my third motor I've built.

About three times the car would die after I got 3 1/2 to 4 miles out, it would just turn off, wouldn't start till it cooled off then it would fire back up. then it sat for a couple days while I waited for my cable to get sent back to me from a friend. It's throwing a SES light for running rich (no ****) LOL! but I can't figure out why it's dumping so much fuel. I have the new found clicking around the firewall area, but I can't pinpoint it.
