fuel test port fix

Unhappy fuel test port fix

does anyone know a way i can fix my fuel line? i was changing the oil pan gasket and somehow the schrader(or however you spell it) got broken. does anyone know of a way i can fix it or perhaps seal it off and move the valve somewhere else?

What is broken? The cap? Does it leak? The shader valve has a thinger in it, kinda like what the air valve for a tire has. So I am sure you can remove that thing (same tool/size you use to take the valve out of a tire and get a cap for it. That help?

the whole thing broke..there is a hole in the line the valve is in my toolbox

ouch..hmm, ok. Prob gonna have to rig something. For a temp fix, can you put some black RTV over the thing to seal it, or are the 40 psi to much and break the seal? The shader valve goes into the FPR? Or am I wrong.

You are going to need to remove the fuel rail and get the bung re-welded. Trying to ghetto rig it may get you an engine fire if you are not careful.
