Fuel system issues and options
Fuel system issues and options
First let me say that after 2 years of trying to find the problem with my new motor and why it was washing rings out, the problem has been found. The fuel return line was pinched off. Warning to those with over fueling issues. Try blowing thru the fuel return line before you get crazy and start tearing things apart. Might save you some time and money
So now I have to change some fuel lines, and I figured I would complete the entire system while I was in there. The pump and tank is not a problem, I know what I am doing there. But I have never had the fun of messing with braided line and -an fittings.
So I guess this post is two fold. First, dont discredit the fuel lines in any over fueling instance. And does anyone make a line kit for a LT1 Camaro, or is custom the only way I am going to do it? Or better yet, does anyone who has done a braided line setup have the reciepe of parts they used?
Thanks
