I am in the process of shortening a fuel pump assembly for a custom appication in a chevelle. This requires me mounting the pump body right up against the bottom of the mounting plate.
What is the extra hose (not the return) used for inside the tank? This is the other one that comes out of the plastic body and just vents to the inside of the tank.
