Fuel Pump Replaced.... Oil pressure is back

Just thought i'd give a little update on my car. Some of you may have read about my problems but maybe not so i'll give a very brief overview. My car overheated and blew a headgasket so we took it to the shop and they said my waterpump was also bad so that got replaced. They then said my fuel pump died so we got it towed home. Me and my dad decided to replace the fuel pump ourselves. We did the trapdoor mod and it was very simple and saved us about 900 bucks. Also the shop fixed one of my oil lines or something it had a leak so now all my oil pressure is back. It was only getting about 20 at idle and about 30 max revved up but now i'm getting 20 idle and about 40 at 2 grand so i'm happy about that. So now it's just gotta go to RPM and get the head gasket replaced. Just figured i'd tell everyone.

Not aware of any oil lines on an LT1 engine

Well he said something like the coolant lines (the metal one's) that run to my oil cooler (i guess?) were leaking. So he fixed that and now my oil pressure is back so whatever. I'm just glad it's back regardless

Who knows what they did. Leaking coolant lines won't affect the oil pressure. Maybe they did something with the cooler adapter while they were down there. Anyway, good oil pressure is better than bad.
