Fuel pump question
Fuel pump question
I was just wondering, if you had a bad check valve on your fuel pump but the fuel pressure was still fine. Would that effect how your car performs? I know it causes it to take a second longer to start after it has sat for awhile. I checked the injectors (Pulled them out of the intake and primed the system.
Fuel pressure guage shows presure to be fine. At idle, and WOT.
36 psi idle, 45 WOT.
THe problem I am having basically is high load, low rpm stublme/hesistating/really bad , but as soon as the rpms get higher (ie load gets less) it starts acting better.
I havent had a chance to scan it, but I am sure it is electrical in nature now, unless that bleeding off problem when I shut it off could be causing it. BUt I wouldnt think it would since even during the stubling the fuel pressure is still where it should be 40-45 psi
