Question Fuel pump ground?

Where is the main ground for the fuel pump?
My car was rear ended and wont rev past 3k. Im sure it is a fuel related issue. I am wondering that in the back of the car by the fuel tank it there a ground or ground strap? and where is it located? Shoebox injuneer?

Thanks

Re: Fuel pump ground?

The ground for the fuel pump comes from the chassis under the drivers seat. It then goes thru C405 connector thru the body just ahead of the axle to the pump. But your problem is not a ground. If it where, the pump would not operate at all. If it were an intermittent ground problem, the pump would die at any time, not just above 3K.

If you suspect a fuel problem, why not view the fuel pressure while you're driving? Tape a fuel pressure gage to the windshield.
