Fuel Pressure Slightly off?

I searched and found the specs for the fuel pump psi at KOEO, Idle, and idle with vac line removed. The numbrs I was getting were as follows KOEO-38.5, idle-39, idle vac line removed-42psi. I know they are slightly out of spec but wanted to know if this was due to the reduced vacuum created by the hotcam? My Baro reading was 28.02 "hg and the map at idle was 2.25 volts which is around 15 "hg. That comes out to about 13"hg of vacuum. I do have the intake manifold leak which might reduce my vacuum as well I think. Its getting fixed this weekend. Any thoughts? Fuel filter was changed during the summer. Thanks

with the vacuum line disconected the vacuum will play no part, could just be an irregularity in the regulator, may have been that way always or just slipping with time

Your numbers are not far off from spec, and as long as they do not drop under load or bleed down too quickly after shutdown you are good to go.

GM spec is 41 - 47 psi with the vacuum line removed so you're in spec.

Was there any symptom? Or were you just checking?

If you feel it is low, you can also check to make sure you are getting full voltage at your pump... low voltage would produce less psi. Just an option. If there is no alarm, then I wouldn't worry about this.
