Fuel pressure regulator on a 93 Z28

Okay guys, so ive been away for a while...I had an 87 Z28. Now im posting again but now I have a 93 Z28, Anyways, FPR is bad..and im trying to get the thing out and im about to pull my hair out. I unbolted the fuel rails and pulled the injectors up to give me some more wiggle room (i also wanted to check for leaky injectors). Now im trying to get at the T27 torx screw and its killing me...is there an easier way to do this? I mean im making progress on that screw but god. Also....whats next? Just pull the fpr from the rail and pull out the fuel line or..? Will I need the tool to remove the line?

I promised i searched 1st but 99% of the info is about 94-97s....can someone give me a heads up or at least a nod that im doing this right?

The regulator on a 93' isn't all that much different than a 94-97, it is just in a different spot. Loosen that t-bit then unscrew the regulator from the rail. This may be easier with the rail pulled off the car. If you want to take it to your workbench, just get a GM fuel line disconnect tool at any auto parts store, they are cheap and worth having anyways, then pop ur lines off and go at it. BTW, join up at www.speeddensity.org , its 93' specific.
