Re: Fuel Pressure Regualtor

You will probably be offended by this but from what you are saying you need to stay FAR away from something like this unless you want to have to build a bottomend to go under that topend.
Leave the regulator stock. If you have to ask the answer is pretty much don't use an adjustable. They can be useful in knowledgable hands who understand what they are doing, but for MOST people the stock is best fueling for a modified engine should be handled by pcm programming and larger injectors if needced and programmed for.

Re: Fuel Pressure Regualtor

The fact you realize that is exactly what will help you sucessfully mod your car. We all start somewhere we just have to be honest with ourselves about our knowledge level, admit you have something to learn and it is amazing how quickly you will soak up the info you need.

The waters get muddied by the aftermarket trying to make you believe you need one to tune a car and by other ignorant folks telling you you need one, this forum can be a goldmine for you if you read enough to know who to trust, there are a lot of knowledgable folks here and a lot of guys who think they know FAR more than they do and who while wellmeaning will try to lead you down their same path of mistakes. Some time here should help you identify who belongs to each group then go from there..
