Unhappy Fuel Pressure low

I just recently installed a new Walbro High pressure fuel pump with an Accel Adj. regulator and some new SVO 30# Injectors.
My question is that when I turn the key on I pressure up to almost 30psi and then it drops to almost 10 PSI. and when the engine is idling the pressue is around 25-30psi.
I do know that the LT1 is supposed to be around 41-47psi at key on.
Are there any ideas that somone might have that could help solve this problem?

I also installed the updated opti with the new vacuum harness could someone give me a rundown on where the two connections go up top. Just so I know that I got them right!

Doesn't much sound like a high pressure pump, does it? I guess you have replaced the fuel filter? Have you tried adjustments with your regulator?

There are pics of the opti vent connections on my Tech Page.

I have tried adjusting the regulator, it doesn't move it!

Thanks for the link!

can the opti manifold vent go under the throttle body instead of where the PCV valve connects?

Is there a special reason you would want it there? I guess it would work as long as that vacuum port provides the same vacuum as the one on the side of the manifold.

That is where I originally placed it, and was wondering if it could be a vacuum problem for the engine.
I tried moving it to the other location and put the plug in the front under the T.B. but there was no difference.

not the problem...

My problem ended up being that I had a loose connection at the pump inside the tank! Hope you cut a hole over the tank through the hatch area

Dude, thats strange. I just put up a post about the exact same thing! I have the same pump and an Aeromotive AFPR. no matter which way I turn it it stays at 30psi. This just started...
