Fuel Pressure checked/ No start problem

Hi,
My 96 is not starting up. It will turn over, but not hold an idle.

To start off with, I hooked up a fuel pressure tester. When I turn the key to on the tester shows the recommended 43 psi or so. But after a couple of moments, the first check showed it slowly drop to 35, the second check, it drop to 30. Is that considered a problem or slow leak issue or is that normal?

My fuel system consists of 42# Bosch fuel injectors and a Walbro 255 lph In-tank fuel pump. It was recently altered by a braided line going from the rails to the hard line under the driver side seat.

my pressure does the same thing but thats do the the GREAT aeromotive fpr haha, not sure if thats normal for the stock frp. but have you checked for vacuum leaks? if not check the intake elbow for cracks and to make sure its connected properly. you could pull the plug off that goes to the maf first and see if it starts. if so then check the elbow.

if you have pressure with the key on, and cranking, then this is not your starting problem, a leaking fpr could cause an extended crank issue but usually not a no start condition.
