Fuel in oil

Fuel in oil

I've got fuel in my oil where could it be coming from, oil pressure is still okay but now i'm worried, car has run like hell lately a backfire every once in a while, has trouble reving past 2500 rpms, just has no power any ideas?

Have you been getting worse than normal gas milliage too?

Sounds like the diaphram in the fuel pressure reg has ruptured and is allowing gas into the engine through the vacume line. When you shut off the engine the excess pressure runs into the cylinder with an open valve, past the rings and into the oil. Pull the vacume line with the engine running, I'll bet gas will be comming out of the regulator.

gas mileage has gotten worse tomorrow morning I'll pull the line thanks for the tip.
