you guys all seem low to me...i consistantly get 210-240 in the city and get between 380-425 on the highway out of a full tank....the highway miles is ALL highway...and the city i like a 75% city 25% highway mix...

CAGS is "computer assisted gear selection" also "skip shift"...its the technical term,,,the ! means you have taken it off of your car or disabled it...also !AIR means that the air injection (emissions) has been removed,,,this is the pipes that go into your manifolds/headers and the air pump itself....you could remove this safely if your CAT is gone or gutted...i wouldnt recomend it if you still have a stock CAT tho cause the richness at start up will clog the CAT...i kno this first hand!
it doesnt add HP or performance to your car through power, but it does remove weight which makes your car "quicker". BUT if you only have to pass inspection you could get away with taking it off, BUT if you have to pass an emisions test you need to keep it. Part of an emissions inspection is a visual inspection, meaning they could fail you if they see the AIR holes have been blocked in your headers. also this pump runs on cold starts and injects freash air into the exhuast to help the CAT come up to temp...if they test your exhuast in an emission test it prolly wont pass on start up with out a custom tune on the computer!...hope this helps.
from the looks of your mods you dont really need to get your computer re-tunned, although i wouldnt hurt. BUT if you pulled the A.I.R off the car you could get the computer re-tunned to run alot leaner on start up, which would almost simulate the AIR pump running like stock, which would cut down on the emissions coming out of the exhaust...like i said tho if an emission's inspector looked under the hood and noticed it was gone they WILL fail you...i see your from philly, PA, atleast where im from (near scranton) dont do emissions yet,,,but i got a letter saying that they WILL be starting emissions checks in Jan. of 2004 in my county....
