Fuel injector size.......How is this figured??
I am looking to order fuel injectors soon.........I was curious what is the way to go to figure out proper size injectors for an application.....I believe that I saw a formula somewhere for this....Is there any other ways besides this?????? Thanks in advance.....

Est. HP * Brake Specific Fuel Consumption
# of cylinders * Duty Cycle
Normal duty cycle is 80%(.80).
For BSFC...
NA - .50-.55
Supercharged - .55-.60
Turbocharged - .60-.65
So if you had 500hp on a supercharger motor and stock(43.5) fuel pressure)...
(500*.60)/8*.8 = 46.875 lb injectors or a 50# injector.
If you raise fuel pressure, it's another can of worms.
