fuel injector cleaner
fuel injector cleaner
i recently went to a chevy dealership to get a tune up on another car i have and got into some small talk with the head mechanic. i ask him about maintenance on chevy's and what he uses. he tells me to get some fuel injector cleaner called "BG 44k" i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or has any ideas of what would be better or what they use that is good. thanks
Ive heard/experienced mixed results and opnions from BG 44K. Its an okay product but i prefer the fuel injector cleaner from Lucas Oil products. Just because its a small bottle dosent mean it works less. In my opnion its one of the best out there. Not to mention pretty much anything Lucas makes.
Just my thoughts, i could be wrong.

Whatever fuel injection cleaner you choose, I feel it's best to add it regularily in smaller doses than it is to add a big concentrated dose all at once. So if the regular dose is 12oz all at once, just add an ounce or two per tankful for instance.
