FUEL FILTER from JEGS, wrong one?
FUEL FILTER from JEGS, wrong one?
I recently purchased a Accel fuel filter for my car from the JEGs catalog from the LS1/LT1/TPI section. It was like 29 bucks. The problem is the fitings on the new Accel filter are both threaded when only 1 end is threaded on the stock filter, the other end has an O ring and clamp! Is there anyway to convert this or is it the wrong filter period?
I think the easiest thing to do would be to buy the one from Napa or Kragen, they are ~$5. You would have to cut the fuel line and put a new fitting on it and that wouldn't be worth the work.
