Frozen Coolant, now overheating

The other day I started up my Z to go to work, and this horrid churning/whirring sound errupted from my engine bay. Low-and-behold, my coolant had frozen solid, radiator, hoses, everything. So I took the radiator out and thawed it along with all the hoses. Then put them back in and filled with 50/50 green anti-freeze. Now the car is over-heating quick and leaking out of the front cover of the waterpump.

What should I check out and what could be wrong? There's no coolant smoke, and no signs of coolant in the oil, and it doesn't seem to be loosing coolant anywhere, it's just heating up fast.

There's a chance the water pump shaft or the drive gear broke when the impeller couldn't turn.

Or... to make your day even worse, the block might have cracked. Or, a simple fix... you popped a freeze plug loose and its losing coolant.

Thankfully the driveshaft is a-ok. Thanks for the help guys
