Whats the widest tires that you can run on the fronts without rubbing???

 

285/40/17's here and lowered no rubbing, wow do they handle.

 

Thats the sizes I was looking at for the fronts. Maybe I'll go with them. But since rice rocket just pilled into the rear of me after posting this I guess I can wait.

Anyone else running 285's on the front?? Do those fit on the stock ZR-1 rims??

 

I thought you said in another post that you already had tires that just came in and you weren't able to put them on because of the rice rocket? Do you have an extra set of tires? And if so, then what size are they?

 

Yeah.....I think thats the same post about the 315's right. I think so. I just got in my Goodyear GS D3's 315x35x17 for the rear. Tirerack was all out of the 275's so I'm trying to see if I can go with the 285's.

ive got 275/35/18's on the front, fit fine, no rubbing at all

 

My buddy had 285/40/17 Yokohama AVS Sports on this front of his Camaro SS, no probs rubbing.
