Angry Front Timing Cover Leak

OK I followed all of GM's instructions per the service manual and I even bought a BRAND NEW timing cover will all seals installed and I still get a drip out of the front where the oil pan meets the cover. WTF?? anyone know the easiest way (Without oil additives) to fix this

Thanks

Sounds like the pan seal, not the timing cover. Did you drop the pan down before putting the timing cover on?

Just a thought. The water pump drive seal is tricky to install, if leaking from there, it will run down the timing cover and drip where the timing cover meets pan.

Check your CPS.. that's where mine likes to leak from.. it doesn't really drip though, just kinda seaps out.. wish I had eliminated it completely when I did my cam install.. less crap to worry about.

Had it on the lift, looked like it was coming from bottom but I didn't check CPS Thanx, I'll look there before moving on!!! It's about the only thing I didn't replace as converting to OBD1 doesn't Require it
