Front Lower control arm bushings

O.k. Whats the deal with these damn things? I did the top ones no prob but the forward bolt on the lower control arm hits the steering rack when I try to pull it out. Anyone have a solution or am I missing something? I loosened the 2 bolts on the steering rack but it won't move enough to slide the bolts out.

Simply turn the wheels ( move the rack) left or right until the inner tie rod clears the bolt. Easy.

I thought about that all night while lieing in bed and came to that conclusion too. I was just tired from fighting that thing all day. Man those shock bolts on top were rusty and I had a near maiming experience with my $10 harbor freight spring compressors. I'll probably wait a while to do the bottom bushings when i feel like abusing myself some more.

I find it amazing how many of us get bit by this. (yes I did it too.)
Simply turn the steering wheel, idiot. I did not want to say anything I felt so dumb.
