I need an alignment and going my so far limited knowledge of this car I only need a front wheel alignment right. because there is nothing they can do to the back. I just wanted to be sure before I get there to have the work done.

You are correct--only the front. Cars that have IRS, like the Corvette, need a 4 wheel alignment. But don't be surprised if they put alignment equip on your rear when they are aligning the front--they are just used as a reference point.
