Front bumper support removal...

Are they any guides, pictures, or websites showing what all to do for this? Has anyone done it that can give me a hand?

well..i just tore apart 3.... u talking about the impact bar..or the radiator support or what... if u want check out the pics in my sig... i can even tell u what size sockets to use

Awesome pic! Im talking about the honeycomb part....did it seem heavy?

well the honeycomb is rivoted to the impact bar...the impact bar weighs a good 5-10 lbs.... that ubolts off with 3 bolts on either side ( need a 13mm socket i think...)
once thats off u can drill out the rivots..if u have a new honeycomb just re-rivot it back on...simple as that....

You need to check out this link to BMRs websight. They are building a 8sec. camaro and they remove the bumper and also. They make a comment on how they still needed a support of some type in there. So that fabbed up their own, but they show pics and tell you the weight totals. Its pretty cool!

I just went with a FMIC setup, and have been immersed in that area or the last two weeks. The crash protection isnt that heavy. I had to remove the plastic for the intercooler. Let me know if i can help any...
