freeze plugs????

Question freeze plugs????

what are the tips and tricks to getting the freeze plugs out.

ive been woking on one for over an hour and all im doing ripping it, the outer lip hasnt budged.

ive been pulling and prying, i even used a dent puller and it aint coming out?

need help, my friend is coming over witha truck to take it to the machine shop in another hour, i figured 2 hours would be enough but it looks like i was mistaken.

please help

Long pry bar and a hammer wasnt doin it for me when I did it in school, so we broke out the air chisel. Did the job quick



Try knocking it in and then colapse it once it goes inside and pull it out with pliers

Knock one side of the plugs into the block with a hammer and punch, then grasp them with large pliers and pull them out.

Yep, hit it on one side and it will spin the other side toward you. Then you can grab it and pull it out.
