Free mods for C4's??

Picked up my C4 almost 2 weeks ago, it's completely stock. Just bought 2 bullet mufflers to replace the stock ones, which will be going on within the next few days... and I'm also looking for a new intake box (vortex, ect.). Just curious if there's any helpful free mods or any inexpensive one's to do until i get the basic bolt ons done Thanks.

[sarcastic]Here is a news flash for you
Just because your LT1 is from a Corvette, you can still do the same free mods as a Fbody LT1 or even a BBody LT1
[/sarcastic voice]

But in all seriousness, check out the above website for some great tips. Plus you can see what a lot of the other vette guys have done for free or relatively cheap. Notice the RELATIVELY. I was going to get a LT1 Vette until I noticed that a catback is well over 1000.00

Hey Torched... you've posted two "ttt" message after people have replied to you with answers. Your ttt messages might give the wrong impression because people might not know what you are wanting if you don't give some feedback to the people who are replying and trying to help.

Sorry if i'm giving the wrong impression.

to treyz28's post - I don't know what the "weird frisbee" he's talking about is.... and i'm not sure if i want to do the TB bypass.

and to texasTA - my computer kept messing up everytime i'd go to that site, so it's not really helpin me

I heard there's somethin about an "open air box" or somethin like that you can do to the C4... maybe i can get more info about that. I know there's more free mods, if someone could just let me know about some.. all i've heard from this post is "remove the weird frisbee thing" & TB bypass.. Thanks.

I dont want to sound like a ****, but I would imagine "cheap" mods that give good results on LT1 corvettes differ a little from camaros (your on a f body site) ............

Heres the link for the C4 message board on www.corvetteforum.com

I understand this is an f-bod website, and also that some of the little mods might be a little different than f-bodies... but it's the same motor... and I'm sure many people have had experiences with both. Oh, and i said in my earlier reply that my AOL (sucks) kept messin up when i went to that site

btw, no pics yet... but plan on taking them soon
