Free mods

Re: Free mods
Ya, there are a number of them. Deleting your AIR and EGR are two good ones, but not emissions legal. Many people get rid of the screen in their MAF, but it can be kinda risky and to my knowledge, nobody has proved any gains from it. The most popular free mod is the throttle body bypass. Basically you reroute the coolant flow so it doesn't travel through your throttle body. Here is a link to it:

This mod helps to keep incoming air cooler since the throttle body no longer has warm coolant moving through it. I have heard of people gaining 10 HP they would've lost once the engine warmed up.
